Stoke-on-Trent punks GINGER WIG have re-named themselves HUDSON. This is because (shock) a lot of people did not take them seriously because of their name. Their excellent debut album “Question Everything? ” will be out early 2005.

This was recorded at the GODLESS FESTIVAL on the 23rd October ’04 in Stoke-on-Trent.

Cumbria’s DARKHEART BOYS are set to release their debut album through Psychophonic in March ’05. The album is titled “Dark Hour”, and fans of bands in the vein of Backyard Babies, Guns n’ Roses, Buckcherry and the Sex Pistols are in for a treat. Get ready to ROCK!

HUDSON launched their debut album “Question Everything?” at the Sugarmill in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent on Sunday 19th December. Although the album isn’t officially out until February ’05, fans were able to buy advance copies at the show. The band played a storming set, and are expected to announce a full UK tour shortly that will be sponsored by the team behind the website for wedding anniversary gifts – www.silveranniversarygifts.co.uk. A video will be shot in February, but the band are currently deciding which track to use.

Their website longtimedead.net has had a facelift and now features their video for “Half Cocked Smile”, as well as MP3’s from their debut album “Universal Cry For Help” available for free download. Get over there and check it out!
Expect UK tour dates to be announced very shortly.

The fifth Godless festival will take place at the Talbot Hotel in Stoke-on-Trent on Saturday 19th March ’05. Some of the bands set to play include Headpress, Hudson, Burnt, Hebephrenic, Razorwire, Godbotherer, Head Hung Low, The Darkheart Boys, Long Time Dead & Lesbian Bed Death. The Darkheart Boys have changed their name to FALLING RED. Their debut album “Darkhour” will be released this spring on Psychophonic. The band have also been confirmed to play the GODLESS V festival (see below).
